First Day of Practice: Monday, February 23, 2026

What is STUNT? 

STUNT is one of the fastest growing female sports in the country! 

STUNT removes the crowd-leading element and focuses on the technical and athletic components of cheer, including partner stunts, pyramid, basket tosses, group jumps, and tumbling.

Try-outs

Due to limited space, all athletes will be required to try-out.

Teams will accept a maximum of 16 athletes per STUNT rules.

$15 tryout fee.

***Athletes are NOT required to have cheered with WJW during the 2025 sideline season. CHEER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***

Is Cheerleading experience required:

Yes! STUNT is an extension of cheerleading. Unlike sideline cheer season, we are unable to begin at the basics of stunting. We jump right into STUNT routines! ***Only exception: no cheer experience required if athlete has elite tumbling skills; Standing back handspring, roundoff back handspring, roundoff back handspring tuck.***

Season Fees:

$300.00

Season fees include STUNT team and athlete membership fees, uniform (jersey, shorts, socks, ribbon), t-shirt, backpack, and facility fees.

Practices:

After the first 3 weeks (4-5 days per week), practice will be held 3 nights per week. Attendance is MANDATORY.

Games:

Games will be held on Saturday's. Dates/times/locations TBA!
